The Objective
To introduce some of the Travel, Design, and Lifestyle media to RIMOWA’s new state of the art manufacturing facility.
The Challenge
The plant located in Cambridge, Ontario- is far and out and editors are busy. Our goal was creating a quick and impactful event for the attendees. Custom Case Design Challenge.
The Strategy
Invite top tier media from the print, online and blogger communities to experience the production line at the facility.
Door to door car service was provided and a modern German inspired breakfast and lunch were served between factory tours and working the actual production lines.
Each media member was given the opportunity to customize a carry-on case made of polycarbonate where colours, zippers, handles and interiors were selected.
The Result
Very happy editors; educated on the inner workings of the manufacturing side of the luxury luggage brand. Each leaving with a one of a kind bag.
